IDA Expo 2024: Innovation, Education and Excitement for What’s Next

Haas Door recently had the privilege of exhibiting the IDA Expo 2024, and what an incredible experience it was! For those who couldn't make it to the event, we want to quickly bring you up to speed on all the exciting developments and offerings we showcased at our booth.


Coming Soon: New American Tradition and Plank Series Models


One of the main highlights of our booth was the sneak peek we offered of some of our upcoming products, including new additions to both the American Tradition and Plank Series. 


The American Tradition series will see 30 new models added, providing a total of 42 models, broadening options in one of our most popular series. These models came from customer special requests and discussions with our dealer partners and end-customers about shifting preferences and updated style trends. One of our new contemporary models, the 9209 and the 9609, offer a unique look that attendees tended to love!

We were also excited to unveil what will be our newest addition to our lineup of offerings: the Plank Series. The series provides realistic wood planks with unique features such as heavy grain, knots, and variation in color hues, which are visually impactful. The wood grain uses long plank boards with different grain features, which allows each section stack to create a unique door look. The plank option is available in two of our most popular colors, English Oak & American Walnut, and we’ve added a striking third option of Cedar plank. 

These new additions to our lineup represent our commitment to innovation, quality craftsmanship and the importance of keeping a finger on the pulse of what our customers are looking for. From timeless designs to contemporary styles, these doors are sure to elevate the curb appeal of any property. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the launch dates!


Translucent Mirror Offerings: Reflecting Innovation


Another new offering we were excited to highlight was our Translucent Mirror window option. These windows represent a fusion of functionality and aesthetics, providing the perfect solution for spaces where natural light and privacy are paramount.


When it’s dark inside the garage, that’s when the mirror properties of the glass begin to show, and you get a strong reflection with just a fraction of the inside of the garage visible from the outside. However, when it is lighter inside the garage than outside, the glass becomes mostly transparent and functions more as a traditional window.

Empowering Dealers with U-Factor Training


At Haas Door, we understand the importance of treating our dealer partners as exactly that: partners. That's why we took the opportunity at the IDA Expo to conduct in-depth training sessions for dealers on the all-important topic of U-Factor. Understanding the importance of energy efficiency is crucial in today's market, and we are dedicated to equipping our dealers with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed.
