Haas Door Reaches 2 Million Work Hours Without a Lost Time Incident
Haas Door has reached 2 million consecutive work hours without a lost time incident. The milestone reflects years of sustained commitment to workplace safety across every level of the organization.
Lost time incidents — injuries that result in an employee missing scheduled work — are a key measure of workplace safety performance. Reaching 2 million hours without one represents a significant achievement for a manufacturing environment.
In September 2025, Haas Door crossed the 1 million hour threshold. Less than a year later, in August 2026, that number doubled.
“This milestone belongs to every single person on our team,” said Jeffrey Nofziger, Haas Door President. “Safety has always been a primary focus of our operations, but what this number really reflects is the care our people have for one another. That’s not something you can just demand one day – you have to build it over time, and our team has done exactly that.”
The achievement builds on a safety philosophy that Haas Door’s over 450 employees describe as a living part of daily operations rather than a set of requirements to be met. Every proactive check, every reminder, and every mindful action on the floor contributes to an environment where employees return home safely at the end of every shift.
