Haas Door Expands the American Tradition™ Series with Aluminum Performance

Haas Door • December 12, 2025

At Haas Door, we’re always looking for ways to make our products even better. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce the next evolution of one of our most popular product lines — the American Tradition™ Series, now available with the strength, style, and performance of aluminum construction.

By incorporating the natural benefits of our 5200 Series aluminum garage doors into the American Tradition™ line, we’ve created a collection that blends handcrafted beauty with high-performance materials. The result? A door that’s as durable and efficient as it is timeless.

Performance That Lasts

The new wood-grain embossed aluminum sections are corrosion-resistant, lightweight and built to handle the elements. Each 2-inch section includes environmentally compliant polyurethane insulation and a full thermal break, providing exceptional thermal performance.

In fact, the new 9200a Series achieves a U-Factor of .110 for opaque doors, outperforming the IECC 2021 code requirement of 0.31 across all climate zones. Because the joints between sections feature an IECC code-compliant bulb seal, these doors help keep conditioned air where it belongs—inside.

Built for Style and Versatility

Of course, performance is only part of the story. The American Tradition™ 9200a Series brings the same design flexibility homeowners and builders love, now enhanced with new aluminum color options: Polar White, Carbon Black and Sandstone.

Pair any of these with 12 solid colors or five wood-grain overlays to create a truly customized look. Choose from 42 model styles, flush or V-groove panels, inverted options and models with up to two lite sections for added natural light.

Smarter, Stronger and Ready for Anything

Because aluminum is lighter than steel, these doors can reduce the amount of springing required while maintaining exceptional strength. The 9200a Series is also available with Standard (Non-Florida), Florida Wind Load and Impact options, making it easier than ever to choose exactly the right door for your needs.

Expanding Beyond American Tradition™

The innovation doesn’t stop there. The same Carbon Black and Sandstone aluminum options are now available in our 5000 Series, alongside Polar White. The 5200, 5700 and 5800 Series doors feature stucco-embossed aluminum sections and offer U-Factors as low as .089, proving that energy efficiency can look great, too.

Endless Possibilities

Haas Door has built its reputation on craftsmanship, performance and American-made quality. The addition of aluminum to the American Tradition™ Series continues that legacy — giving homeowners a door that’s not only built to last but designed to impress.

As hurricane season ramps up, homeowners across the Gulf Coast, Atlantic states and beyond are checking emergency kits, trimming trees and securing loose outdoor items. It’s a vital barrier that protects your home from wind, water and debris. And in high-wind events like hurricanes, it can be a first line of defense in protecting your home. Why Your Garage Door Matters in a Storm A compromised garage door can cause catastrophic damage.
