Haas Door Expands Impact Polycarbonate Glazing Options
On-trend colors in window glass can really set a garage door apart on a home. Now, Haas Door has expanded our colorful impact resistant polycarbonate glazing options in several of our residential and commercial insulated product lines.
Our five impact glazing color options include Clear with UV rating, Dark Gray, Frosted, Bronze and Pebble. These colors enhance curb appeal and meet current color trends for homes and buildings, even in impact required zones.
Haas Door is expanding these five impact glazing options into our insulated door lines including 2000, 5000, 700, 600, and American Tradition Series of garage doors. To create a complete look, the exterior trim of the window is painted to match the door skin color.
The Look You Want
With our expanded color glazing offering, builders and homeowners can now order Haas garage doors with windows in a variety of designer configurations to complement the exterior of a home or structure. Impact windows used in Haas Door garage doors meet impact requirements for a wide variety of areas, except for HVHZ and Dade County.
“Adding windows to the garage door has increased in popularity over the last few years,” says Jeffrey Nofziger, president of
Haas Door. “This is also true for impact rated garage doors. We want to make sure we provide the same impact glazing options in our insulated impact garage doors as we do in our other impact series.
“As Mother Nature continues to pound away at us, it’s more important than ever before to have the option of impact resistant glazing in garage doors. With our wide variety of options, owners can still get natural light in their garages while fitting the level of privacy they prefer, be it a Clear window or our highest privacy rating of Frosted.”
