Dream Workshop with Dream Garage Doors

If you’ve ever dreamed of having a stand-alone workshop, you’re not alone. Many people yearn for a spacious work area with extra room for storage. Seth Kilgore is now living that dream.


“Our new free-standing structure serves as a garage, workshop and storage area,” says Kilgore, a resident of Hughesville, Pennsylvania. “We have one of our cars and several ATVs in there. Then we have the shop side, which I use for woodworking. The attic is used for storage.”


Kilgore designed his workshop after looking at dozens of pictures of barns and different garage styles. When it came time to construct the building, he selected American Tradition™ Series garage doors. The Model 942 garage doors were ordered in bronze with insulated tempered glass in glazed 8-pane windows.


“I like the depth and traditional look of these Haas garage doors,” says Kilgore. “I wanted a traditional look to match the style of the workshop. The windows at the top helped complete the look and let light into the shop.”


To order and install the garage doors, the homeowner connected with Keystone Door Solutions in Mill Hall, Pennsylvania, which installs about 1,000 Haas Door garage doors each year. 


“I’m definitely satisfied with the construction of the garage doors and the installation services provided,” says Kilgore. “I would highly recommend them to family and friends.”
