New Graywood Option from Haas Door
Haas Door has launched a new “Graywood” wood grain color. The deep gray color of Graywood is now available in the residential and commercial garage doors in the American Tradition, Insulated Steel 2000, 700, and 600 Series.
“Shades of gray continue to be a popular choice for both interiors and exteriors in 2022,” says Kate Smith, chief color maven at
Sensational Color. “New colors like Graywood connect us with the earth. These tones are balanced and beautifully complement warm and cool exterior materials and finishes. This includes brick, stone, wood, slate, and a variety of paint colors.” Gray is a foundation color because it is a color that historically stands the test of time.
Available in a uni-directional wood grain pattern, the Graywood color adds a modern feeling to a classic gray color, warmed up with the element of wood. The gray hue is consistent across the door, providing a purposely consistent look. At the same time, the wood grain pattern is strong enough to show the detail of a wood pattern to be seen clearly from the curb. The combination ensures a striking yet cohesive look to the home. The authentic gray colors combine with a steel wood grain embossment that runs horizontally to compliment the garage doors, enhancing the feel of wood.
“This distinct Graywood color will offer long-lasting beauty on a home or commercial project,” says Jeffrey Nofziger, president of
Haas Door. “We’re so confident in the long-term durability of this color that Haas Door is providing a 10-year finish warranty on the color.”
