Haas Door, a long-time member of DASMA, is participating in the Thermal Performance Verification Program (TPVP). The program provides industry-wide standardization of marketing the thermal performance of sectional garage doors. It represents a shift in how sectional garage door thermal performance is rated, from traditionally calculated R-Value to more accurate and relevant third party-tested installed door assembly U-Factor. A third-party tested solid door U-Factor will be used to communicate thermal efficiency on Haas Door literature and websites.
